I'd love to tell you all about my newest novel, which has been released and is available from Amazon.com and Barnes & Noble. 

FOR LOVE OF TEDDY tells the story of  a high school senior who takes on drug dealers and WINS! 

Michael Kirkpatrick risks everything, including his own life, to save his younger brother, Teddy, from teenage drug dealers.  Because Michael feels responsible for the accident which caused Teddy 's slight mental impairment, Michael relentlessly gives his all to bring the dealers - even the supplier - down with no thought for his life.  All that matters is Teddy, and for love of Teddy, Michael gives his all to the task.  

It is my hope that this novel will encourage young people everywhere to look within themselves and find their own way to resist peer pressure.  Drug abuse is so terribly prevalent in the life of everyone these days and this is my way of reaching out to young people, especially.  No one needs to rely on the crutch of drugs - just "BE THE YOU YOU WERE MEANT TO BE".  They sometimes don't realize that they have it in their power, as Michael in my novel does, to change lives, particularly their own.   

I will personally be distributing this novel to agencies and venues where the novel may be useful in reaching and helping young people growing up in today's terribly demanding society.  I just feel very convinced that my writing abilities should be put to good use and this is my personal agenda for as long as the good Lord lets me.  If my writing can help then I am more than glad to lend it to the cause.  

Let's see, what is there about me that might be interesting?  I love to write (that's a given, of course).  I love animals.  I have three Persians who share my home with me and I raise adorable kittens from time to time.  I also have a few cute, cuddly little dogs of various small breeds and I raise adorable cute, cuddly puppies.  I have written a few songs over the years and had some of them published and recorded by independent labels.  (I would be happy to send you a cassette of the better ones if you are interested.)  I wrote a couple of screen plays which came in in the top 75 of a Writer's Digest contest a couple of years ago.  I self-published my first novel, SING ME NO SAD SONGS, and got a lot of experience marketing and promoting that book.  Experience which will come in handy when this second novel comes out, I am sure. 

 I also have three Miniature Horses.
